Meet The Luminosity Team
As Member and President of Luminosity Capital LLC Dan is responsible to lead the effort to create, deliver, and capture value and ensure the company follows its mission, policies, and practices, and is profitable. He is passionate about discovering and unlocking the hidden potential in people and real estate so that people and communities flourish. Dan’s work in real estate in Florida began in the 1970s when he and his best friend worked at his best friend’s father’s business that focused on multifamily community conversions in Southeast Florida.
As a graduate of St. Andrews School in Boca Raton and then the University of Florida in Gainesville, Dan had regular opportunities to traverse Florida, north to south, which equipped him with a unique historical perspective and insight into the dynamics that have influenced growth in both density and expansion throughout the State of Florida. After college, Dan led a successful corporate career focused at the intersection of Marketing and Technology where he served in roles as both Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer at high-growth companies that successfully achieved triple-digit TEV increases during his tenure. He also led several new business start-ups for billion-dollar international distribution companies that provided him with opportunities to leverage his strategic market insights and understanding of logistical dynamics to optimally negotiate networks of commercial warehouse space throughout the United States.
Dan has been sharpening his real estate skills over the last seven years in the Southwest Florida market. As a top producer with Southwest Florida’s largest Real Estate Brokerage, Dan is a licensed commercial and residential Real Estate Broker and has worked with large franchise organizations to identify strategic properties that align with their future development initiatives and community expansion. Additionally, he has helped both buyers and sellers with their residential real estate transactions across a diverse landscape, from large parcels of land in central Florida to multimillion-dollar condominiums in some of the newest and most exclusive communities of Southwest Florida. Dan’s many years of Florida real estate experience dating back to the 1970s and keen insight, creativity in value creation, and technical background position him well to lead Luminosity Capital’s efforts to create, deliver and capture value hidden in the rapidly growing Florida real estate market.
As a Member of Luminosity Capital LLC Michael is responsible for finance and investment, including engagement of employees, partners, advisors, and investors. He is driven to create value and enable growth by discovering the hidden potential in both people and real estate. Michael began his career in sales with McDonnell Inc, a boutique floor brokerage firm at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. While there, he analyzed order flow and market irregularities to identify margin opportunities on behalf of his clients — executing thousands of trades in S&P 500 futures and options. At McDonnell Inc, Michael launched a brokerage desk at the Chicago Board of Trade that brokered the largest number of Dow Jones futures contracts in 2003.
From 2004 to 2022, as President and owner of M. Sweazey & Associates, Michael developed broad expertise in personal liability exposure and real estate risk. His customer base, which exceeded 2000, represented in excess of $500 million of insured values. Michael is a licensed commercial and residential Real Estate Broker in Florida. Michael’s proven track record in financial services and business management positions him well to oversee the execution of Luminosity Capital’s mission to unlock asset value to achieve targeted results on behalf of investors in the Florida real estate market.
As a Member of Luminosity Capital, Danny is responsible for operations, developing partnerships, and managing and improving properties to optimize value creation. Danny is passionate about finding hidden opportunities and connecting them with the right people and resources, for all to flourish.
As a graduate of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, with a degree in Business. He began his career in the non-profit sector holding positions in international development, fundraising, and church operations. As a member of Willow Creek’s young adult leadership team, he successfully launched their young adult ministry including an opening event that drew more than 8,000 young adults.
After Willow Creek, Danny served Rick Warren as his executive assistant at Saddleback Church. Serving Rick extended to all facets of Rick Warren’s ministry, putting Danny at the intersection of ministry leaders, corporate executives, and government officials coming together to accomplish shared visions. Danny’s role at Saddleback provided him with a unique perspective into the power of connecting the right people, through trusted relationships, and resources to fulfill a common vision. Most recently Danny has served as Chief of Staff for Cappital, a custom software development company. At Cappital he was responsible for managing senior-level relationships and providing strategic insight for the leadership team.
Tim is a co-founder of Luminosity Capital, Member and the President of BBE Group, LLC, a Texas based sponsor of private equity funds that invests in commercial real estate, Chairman of the Board at Sypnios, a firm that invests capital and world class advisory services in lower middle-market companies and the right leaders so that extraordinary value is created and captured and culture is transformed, a Venture Partner with Golden Section, a venture capital firm and founders studio focused on early-stage SAAS companies, the Chairman of the Advancement Board of the Toulouse Graduate School at the University of North Texas, a Partner at and the co-founder of iHs, a leadership advisory, strategy and retained search firm that has conducted over 1,000 engagements since its inception in 2004, and on the board of a Christian non-profit.
Prior to these endeavors, Tim spent 14 years in management consulting in roles such as Managing Director at The Hackett Group where he was the head of their Answerthink business unit, Senior Vice President at Hitachi Consulting where he was also a member of the firm’s Operating Committee, and Principal (Management Consulting Partner) at Grant Thornton, LLP. He was also the Chairman and CEO of a dot-com during the heydays of the dot-com boom. Tim began his professional career in marketing and sales for a division of Illinois Tools Works (ITW) and owned his first multi-million dollar business in 1989.
Tim is a graduate of Pine Crest Preparatory School in Fort Lauderdale, holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Colgate University, is certified in a number of psychometric assessment instruments and is a Blue Ocean Strategy practitioner. Tim’s experience and background in conceiving unique and profitable ideas, raising capital, formulating and executing strategy, improving operational performance, and discovering and unlocking human potential positions him well to assist Luminosity Capital in its efforts to provide illuminative insight with people, technology and real estate for deeply rooted growth
Grant is responsible for identifying opportunities for real estate investment at Luminosity, participating on the investment committee, generating ideas for property value creation, and acquiring and selling properties for Luminosity Capital’s equity funds.
Grant is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas and Vice President at Morgan Realty Group, where he is responsible for strategic direction and performance in representing buyers, sellers, agents, and owners. The Morgan team has completed over 500 commercial real estate transactions in North Texas, and Grant is regularly engaged in uncovering opportunities for capital appreciation via commercial real estate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from University of North Texas.
With a drive to ensure his clients win on every transaction, and a strong faith in God that his new business would thrive, Eric launched Morgan Realty Group in 2012. Eric has over 17 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry focused on the Dallas / Fort Worth markets. He has worked with lenders from all over the country helping them liquidate varied real estate assets, including BBVA Compass Bank, Southwest Securities Bank, Enterprise Bank, and Graham Mortgage. Prior to founding Morgan Realty Group, Eric was with Capstone Commercial Commercial Real Estate Group for 10 years where he was consistently a top producer.
Eric started his career as a sub-market expert along the Stemmons Corridor in Dallas. Eric has particular expertise in owner acquisition-disposition of commercial properties and tenant representation, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, investors, and equity funds.
Eric was born and raised in Alaska. He and his wife Katie reside in Keller, Texas, with their 4 children. Eric loves the mountains and is an avid skier. He is a passionate preacher of the gospel. The greatest accomplishment of his life was receiving Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior.
